Hole cutout for 8" Sub: 7 1/8" Hole cutout for 10" Sub: 9 1/8" Subwoofer Mounting Depth: 4.25" and that is based on using a sub with a 5.50" magnet. We feel you may be able get 4.50" of mounting depth by using a sub with a 5.00 diameter magnet. Shallow mount subs will be a good option.
